Dental and medical clinics in Mexico and Costa Rica, with what each one publishes
For every clinic: the price list it posts, the practitioners it names and their license numbers, the accreditations it claims, and what it leaves out. Read from the clinic's own website and linked line by line.

How to read a clinic page
Prices posted · 14
The clinic publishes a price list. Each line on its page here links to where it appears on the clinic's site, in the currency and framing the clinic used. A clinic that posts nothing is marked that way too.
License numbers shown · 3
The clinic names its dentists or surgeons and prints their professional license number beside them (a cédula in Mexico, a colegiado code in Costa Rica). The guides explain how to look one up.
No practitioners named
Grey stamps mark what a clinic leaves out. A missing stamp is a fact about the website, not a judgment about the clinic; it tells you what to ask before you book.

What this site is not
- Not a ranking. Clinics are listed by place and name. Nothing on a page says a clinic is good, safe or recommended, and no clinic can pay for a position.
- Not a booking site. There is no quote form, no concierge and no commission. You contact a clinic through its own website.
- Not verification. A license number or accreditation on a clinic page is what the clinic printed. Costa Rican dentists' names were searched on the Colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas' public roll; nothing else has been checked with a regulator or accreditor. The guides show where each kind of claim can be checked.
Guides
- How to check a Mexican dentist's license
What a cédula profesional is, why a specialist should have a second one, how the SEP registry search works, and what to do when it will not load from the United States.
- How to check a Costa Rican dentist's registration
Every dentist practising in Costa Rica must be on the Colegio de Cirujanos Dentistas' roll. How to search it by name or code, what its status and specialty columns mean, and where physicians are listed.
- What to ask a clinic before you book
The questions whose answers belong in writing before you travel: who treats you, what the quote covers, what the implant is, where the crown is made, and what happens if it fails after you are home.
- Crossing the border for treatment: documents, hours, medicine and taxes
What US citizens need to walk back across, when each crossing is open, what happens to medicine you bring home, and what the IRS says about dental care and travel abroad.
